The Bay of Bengal, near Auroville on the South East Coast of India. The song goes: "I saw the rains down in Africa"....
This is my Version: "I rode the trains all through India"
We were on the train for 30 hrs too long!To Speak a little on the Trains, There are no Air Conditioners, No Provided food, the bathroom is usually a hole leading to the tracks, people sleep on the floor because there are not enough seats/ beds, and "beggars" and disabled people are allowed on to hustle passengers for money as a system of social justice. And Its an experience I would have never passed up...Kolkata: considered the Cultural Capital of India.Life can be roughNear Mother Teresa's House of the DeadAnd Yet, there is still Beauty everywhere you look. I urge you to look around yourself and find beauty in even the ugliest of places. And Understand that Life, In Itself, is Beautiful...
I'm getting on another train this evening for New Delhi. Possible visit to the Taj Mahal in the next few days. I'll post again as soon as the opportunity arises.
Take some time to enjoy life for everything it is.
